Wink '95 sas swaybar needed???

I was wondering do I need to install a swaybar on this truck to keep it more steetable and disconnect it when going offroad. I have a '95 pe-tocoma extended cab with a 4.3 chevy engine in it. I will be running 35's with 4.88 gears. I really like for it to handle pretty good on road. Also where can I get a swaybar and what do I need to order ie:'85 and earlier or '95 swaybar.

Thanks

If you are using leaf springs, you shouldn't need one.

I have been debating doing this on my 4Runner, but it's a lot more top heavy than your vehicle should be.

I do a lot of long highway driving when I head up to Utah and generally pack a shuttle box full of gear way up on the roof rack. So my COG is pretty insane. It can be like driving a 4,000 lb weeble wobble at 75 miles per hour.

I may end up putting one on with disconnects, but I think you should just drive yours a bit and see how it feels. I don't have any real issues until I start loading up the 4Runner. It sways some, but I don't feel anymore than any other lifted truck would.

This is a link to a route I may go if the time comes. He used a Tacoma IFS bar that he flipped over:
