Flexes like a mofo. Now its time to clean up the rusty back end and add my shackles.

I fixed it then flexed it to find out where I need to put my bump stops.

I like how you put rear leaf springs in the front, that seems like a really economical way to just get the axle underneath the truck, without spending a thousand and a half dollars in special spring packs and lift, besides I like the lift height. Not to massive. Good job!

 

Danke, they are very economical but they are by no means "bolt on" most situations you have to relocate your spring hangar, relocate your steering box, build the pack to your liking which normally takes up a lot of time trying different spring combinations.

About how long do you think the entire conversion took you to complete?

 

Considering that I had two knee surgery's at the time it took me like 3 months to acquire, and create the entire build. Kits are a lot easier it seems like, but I thought it was fun making some of my own stuff. I already have different views on what I should have done but it works great.

 

where can you buy some of the sas kits from? im looking to do it to my 92 yota sometime real soon.
