Its been a while since I posted any updates. My plans have changed a little on the truck. I am putting in a 1UZFE from a 1993 Lexus LS400. I bought the care a few weeks ago for $550. The owners said the fuel pump went out but after a little troubleshooting I found that it was just stuck. I took it apart and got it to turn, hooked some power to it and it worked. The car runs great and I will be removing the motor in the next few weeks. I will post some pics when I get a chance.

Yes, yes, please don't be shy with the V8 conversion pictures. I can't wait. Is this engine drive-by-wire or is there a throttle cable?

Update

Well the truck is finally back on all fours. Is been sitting on jack stands for over a year now. The engine, trans and cases are finally in position. I still need driveshafts, exhaust, wiring, wheels and tires. I'm just excited I can actually move it out the garage. Here are some pics. Enjoy!!

Are the front and rear driveshafts close to the same length?

I'm not sure. I havent measured them yet. I did see if the stock rear would work but it's too long.
