Thanks Yopar. Does anyone know where I can get a 2 inch front lift spring for a this thing? The spring rate on these RUFs is a little soft. It seems like the smallest that I can find is a 3 inch

Can you just add a leaf from another spring pack? I have 3" procomps in mine, after they broke in they are almost flat.

So, what exactly makes this swap lower then others? It doesn't look any different to me as compared to other builds I've seen. But then again, I'm new to the whole SAS thing.

Isn't the RUF already placing the axle foward 2" of standard front replacement springs?

If you want stock pin location springs, use 2 of the OME part #CS008FA (driver side springs), or the HD ones are the #CS009FA but they are stiffer and some people don't like them, especially if you don't have a winch.

If you want to keep the RUF pin locations, try throwing in some fresh OME rear leafs up front, that might work, they're about $90 each. part # CS009R

Or the rear OME xtra leaf by itself part # OMED5XL for about $25 each, you could add these to your current RUF pack.

The frenched front hanger and the short rear shackles. The front hanger is where the biggest difference comes from. It sits about 3 inches lower than a friend of mines with Trail Gear recommended installation of the front hanger.

The perches are redrilled which place the axle 0.25" foward of factory location. We've been looking into the OME front leaf springs for it because the RUF like to pick the front end up when your hill climbing. I haven't really messed with his truck lately since I've gotten a new project and he's been driving the wheels off this truck.

35x12.50R15 KM2s. It doesn't rub at all. The rear might rub when it's fully loaded and flexing on a trail.

So are the front springs factory? as in no AAL? also, what tire size did you roll with? Im trying to keep my 4Runner SAS ridiculously low, but sit on 35s. so im thinking of going with RUFs and 63s as well. ( but i have a lot more weight on the rig than you do ( plated front bumper w/ winch and plated rear bumper with swing out tire carrier and jerry can gas tank )

They are 35x12.50R15 KM2s. The first post has the info about the front spring. It is just a rear spring with leafs added from another set of rears. Not sure of the exacts but I believe it is in here somewhere.

Here are some recent pics with the bumper. This is my brothers truck. I just did all the work for the sas. Props to him on a sweet bumper build.
