No idea...i was at a dead stop turning a corner and i hadnt even let out on the clutch all the way before...POP...and i wasnt going anywhere. At first i thought i snapped a u-joint or somthing but nope. So i just hurried up and locked the hubs in so i could atleast drive to the gas station on the other side of the bridge i was on.

droped my rear axle tonight and actually got the axle out to look at it. The left side broke right where it goes into the wheel bearing clean off. My guess is that bearing went bad but not completely sure. Pretty crazy tho.

OK that would make sense then.....axles dont usually break by themselves on the street

x4 those marlin 5"springs are freaking huge with 35" tires done it won't make that mistake again LOL

i wasnt doing anything when it broke. there might of been damage before but i was actually doing anything when it broke. Oh wait my bad my 22r just has so much torque that i snapped an axle letting out on the clutch...yeah thats it.

your rear diff might have been welded together and that might have help break it my friend did it just driving down the street?

nope. ive power braked it before and only one wheel spun. i really think it was previous damage cut i have jumped my truck once before....on accident of course!!
