I am just starting my sas, using axles off a 79 chevy suburban (d44 front and corp14 ff rear). My toy is a 1989 sr5 ext cab with a 5 spd manual tranny and a 3.0 v6. Only engine mods are a k&n cold air intake and a ceramic header with magnaflow exhaust. Motor has 56k on it, truck has 156K.

I would like to know if anyone has used the 3/4 ton chevy springs on their toy, and if so did you take leafs out of the pack for flex and so on? Just curious, didn't see a topic like this in the search engine>>
