A weekend run in SIerras 13-14 August?
#1
Edit: Fixed dates ( I need to learn how to read a calendar)
ANybody up for a weekend run in the Sierra's 14-15 August?
I'm thinking in the proximity of the Yosemite, but flexible for location, I have a few trails in mind, mostly easy to intermediate.
Let me know as I want to start planning the logistics.

Finally someone wants to wheel in my neck of the woods. Im right outside of yosemite, but im new to the wheeling world (only had the license for 4 monthes) so i dont know much about trails round here except the local fireroads and mud pit. If you dont mind wheelin with a newb then i would deffinetly be up for some fun wheelin.

Hi Andy,
NO prob if you are a newb, I'm not an expert either. The only thing is that you are not reckless and pretty much follow trail etiquet. This is pretty much a requirement for all Yotatech runs, even for the experts here. ALthough the definition of reckless is different in everybodies book
But either way the point is not to destroy your rig or the trail, or anyboby else's stuff. Rather to learn how far you can push yourself and your rig.
I hope some other folks want to join in.
I will look at posting some trails and their locations this weekend.
Andy are you specific on which weekend or can you perhaps do another one? ALso close to which town do you live? I'm too lazy to check your sig now

That'd be alright except its hotter than hell down there in august
and i dont have ac
. O well. I dont mind driving down there. And as far as offroad ediquete ( cant spell) i dont want to tear my rig up and im not looking to destroy the trail, but i am new to this and maybe could use a bit o advice about whats cool
or whats not
. Im pretty flexable with dates, as long as it is before school gets back in (august 24) im good to go.

I could probably do a weekend after school starts i would just need to know ahead of time a little. Only thing i was worried about is if i screw up my rig during school im not gonna have time to make repairs till the next weekend as apposed to summer when i have all the time i need. Oh well, ill try to get away whenever all you yota techies are ready to make a run.
