wow i have totally been to that puddle, at that point it was way deeper then the picture. we took the outside line, like i think you did the 1st time. we made it fairly easily, but right before that there was an old 76 f series on 40 inch boggers tearing that things up, we avoided where he went. in that picture a rig is coming down that hill, if you go up that hill there is another mud pit, with kind of an island in the middle. it looks shallow, IT IS NOT, we learned this the hard way, with the windows down, ya thats right. so basically the whole interior had mud in it. it was crazy. but good memories. my brother took my truck up there a few weeks ago, some redneck aholes told him he could make this pit easy, but they were just aholes. turns out you need like 38s and lockers to make it. so open and 33s didnt fair so well. it has a bunch of problems since then. it didnt start for awhile. not it starts fine, but it wont idle well, sometimes dies, it wont rev above 3000, and whenever you let off the gas it sounds like someone is dying. the carpet is all gone were getting new vinyal waterproof crap. i think it might be a clogged cat, especially since its just a cheapo cherry bomb slapped right behind the cat, hopefully its that a pretty easy fix, and a good excuse to get a full exhaust. there might be something weird with the spark plugs too, if anyone has any ideas let me know. ill let you know what the problem is when i find out.

i think i might cut out all the mud, its fun but it really screws up my truck, ive been getting into rocks alot.

Hey Dude!

Yeah... After thinking about it for a couple of days, my kids and I decided that on the way down I actually took that outside line (the puddle to the right at the bottom of the hill) and not the left side. I clearly remember doing that (now!) but at the time, I thought we had gone left when we came down. oops.

And yeah... those puddles at the higher plateau are VERY deceiving! I knew those though, and dealt with them correctly.
