Tuttle Creek-HALLOWEEN

Who all wants to go. Its Halloween weekend. I've already talked to Ranski about it. Sounds like so far the Tornadoalleycruisers are going, some people from Trailkrawlers, and some of my friends and me are going. If Ranski gets on he can probably explain details a little better. Ricnkc, you think you'll be able to make it?

Tornadoalleycruisers are going
This is true...most typically show up Friday night. Not sure where we will be camping at this point, but as soon as I get details I'l post them here.

We will wheel all day Saturday, camp again Saturday night and there are usually a few that wheel Sunday morning.

Inland trucks downtown KC installing my arbs and 4.88. They managed to get the wrong gears and its taking FOREVER!! My ride has been up on stands for two weeks in my garage. My body lift is here, steve says my bumper is shipping in a few days, Ill still need to take out the front dif an get it to Inland(if I use them for the front). All in all Inland trucks is HOLDING ME UP! Its making me crazy. Ive at least got my compressor mounted and Ive been able to change my brake lines and adjust my rear lift a bit, replaced my rear seals, fuel filter this and that. looking at 80K so some maintenance to do. However looking at my rig every morning before work in its crippled state wears on a man after a while when his hands are tied.

Maybe my wife will let me drive the LC? Wait.... she saw my last dent on the runner, so thats not an option. It will all work out, timing is everything.

Well i went last weekend to Tuttle with Trailkrawlers4x4 and it was pretty fun except my panhard bar drop bracket gave me some trouble and i also slammed my rear quarter panel into a tree. Hopefully i'll have a better panhard lift bracket before we get out there and possibly a new custom rear bumper with quarter panel guards (probably won't get the bumper done until November though).

Sorry to hear about the damage brother, I can feel your pain. Ive got my rear arb installed and tested, waiting on the front to be complete, hopefully this week. Looking good for the time line to go. What kind of problem with your panhard?

Its just a poorly designed superlift drop bracket. this piece of maybe 1/8" thick 2 inch wide sheet metal is supposed to support my whole rearend from swaying back and forth. Its getting replaced by the opposing side lift bracket soon though. I'll try and get my friend to take some pics of it.

Jake-

Sorry to hear about your damage. I nailed my rear quarter about a year ago down at Kansas Rocks. Simple little ledge...goosed it a little too much and wham, nailed a tree.

Looking forward to Halloween weekend. I have new tires and rims to try out [black Rock Crawlers w/ 285 MTR's]

Has this list or the status of any of the above changed.

I will be heading down Friday afternoon and will be camping with the Land Cruiser guys all weekend. We will be camping at the Fancy Creek Campground located northwest of the Hwy 16 bridge over Tuttle Creek.

We typically end up at the staging area between 9 and 10 on Saturday morning. This is a family oriented bunch, so feel free to bring whoever.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Tornado Alley Cruisers (a chapter of www.tlca.org) visit their website at www.tornadoalleycruisers.com

Murphys law just nailed me. The installers jacked up the o rings inside my front diff. When I kick on my front locker diff fluid shoots out the breather. Gotta get it out tonight and take it back in. SUCKS!
