I will work on it....not too sure I can make it. My boss has me scheduled to work that Sat after I told him I needed it off, and the dicks don't want to trade weekends with me.

That's awesome Rob! hahahaha. I am planning on going somewhere that weekend. I'd feel better if we called whatever we do Tierra Del Pobre.

Marc, You Can Do It!

There is a pretty bad stomach flu going around . I've had at least one guy a day out for the last couple weeks.

I found the same map on the SVRA website. You can barely read the thing. I cross-referenced it with Google Earth and saw a bunch of new development at the same spot. Someone else confirm this please. I'd hate to be camping in someone's backyard although "taking the kids to the pool" in the morning would be alot nicer.

Oh yeah Marc, I found a picture of you and your boss discussing the weekend plans.

I wouldn't mind that either as I'm working a front bumper for the Taco and don't see myself getting it done in time.

Who want so help me install this e-locker I got in my front end? Anyone really good at drilling and tapping holes???

Lets have a wrench-a-thon after this trip, and Andy can make a bunch of gas tank skids.

I got a Lincoln 175A MIG...

and an account at KH Metal Supply.

And I need a tank skid for my 89.

If Andy can give me dimensions, I can get a price on sheer cut sheet metal pieces.

Bah, I'm once again going to have to back out of this one. This is the only trip I REALLY wanted to go on this year.

I'm having to travel on business that weekend that simply can't be backed out of. So I'll live on as the San Diegan crew wannabe.

The Taco skid is an odd shape but looking at my '95 Runner it seems as though you could make a rectangular one and be able to cut down on the cost of shearing. They charge per cut and the less the better. Do the Pick-Ups from 89-95 have a similar tank like the Runners? That freakin thing hangs way the hell down there. I can see how you guys beat them up pretty good. We should have a fabrication party sometime.

I can still give you dimensions for the Taco if you want Jim but I don't see that helping too many peps. I'll try to check the Runner for dimensions tomorrow.

Jared, you are a dissapointment. I haven't seen you in a year. You better make this run, or I will ask the moderators to change your screen name to Bunghole.

Tell me about it. I want to go out as much as the next guy, but I'll be on a plane to Denver. Sucks, I know.

I'll have to just plan my own trip some weekend that I can do it, and hopefully you guys can make it out.

I will put up a meet and greet post soon for the March 24th Belgian beer festival up at the pizza port, as I promised I'd do at the last meet and greet.

What E-locker do you have for your front end? I didn't know of one. Although not having the same axle as you, haven't really researched it. I work on my rig almost every weekend if you need a hand. The "E" part would be where my strengths lie
