Testing new software

If this works correctly, we now have software here that will show a RSVP in a trail/trip planning event.

To use it, you must access the calendar from the Helpful Links menu in the navbar at the top, and then choose calendar.

Click the tab to add a new event, but do not choose private, no one will see it but you.

Once you choose that, you will see a box to type in just like when you compose a new thread/post.

You have to choose a date for the event from the area above where you type.
Make sure the check box below where you type is checked to allow other users to RSVP in your event.

Once you do this and hit the Save Event button, it should create a new thread in the Trip Planning section where you plan events now.

Hopefully after I hit the button below, it will work

Maybe a few of you can hit the tabs in there to see how it works and add some text.
You can choose
Yes
Maybe
No if you will be attending.

I saw this done over at Rob's (WATRD) WATTORA forum, and I have always liked it

OK, it seems to work, and you can reply to a thread after you choose if you will be attending the event or not.

But I do not see a subscribe button like in other sections, will look into it, but this is pretty cool.

Oh, a link showed up further down the page, you can subscribe to this thread, I may have missed it when looking before, or it may only show up if you post a reply in here.

Anyway to add the rsvp thing to a thread you've already started in the trip planning section?
