WOW!! Is any body on yotatech going to TDS in SoCal at truck haven/ocutilla wells? its feb29-mar2.

 

Hey.

I've done TDS three years in a row, twice in the Rav4. Can't go this year because of a gig that came up, but there always is a huge contingent of 4Runner, Tacos and FJs at this event. Somebody from YotaTech has to be there. I know a few SoCal Tundra guys are going, and some of the Rav4 geeks from Rav4world were talking about it.

If you haven't been to TDS, it's nuts. Seriously nuts. Not Glamis-dangerous nuts, but wicked night crawling with huge action everywhere nuts. There is simply tons of great terrain, with sand and washes and jumps and rocks everywhere. If you actually have horsepower try Blow Sand Hill, or just watch the twin-turbo LS1 buggy guys make it look easy.

If you ever do a SoCal sand & trail event, this is the one. Bring beer.

There will be a few of us out there. Planning on wheeling at Truckhaven Sat for a while, then cutting accross to Ocotillo Wells for the afternoon/evening.

its getting close, started doing "last minute stuff" (tires, exhaust, lifting rear with custom shackles and misc. tinkers) that should have been done weeks ago.
been in the garage almost all the free time i have. the wife isn't pleased.
nag nag nag.... wait tell she finds out im gonna pick up an '87 4runner before this weekend..
