All I'm hoping for is a decent camp spot. Preferrably a distance away from anyone setting off one of those charges that you could feel in your chest last year...

Kinda hoping that we'll do what we did last year and pretty much just camp out in Truckhaven but wheel in O' wells. Maybe make a run in the sand over to Superstition and then back at some point? Josh will have to stick to roads a tow truck can go on if we do head out to Superstition though...

 

I've got some fatty front springs now... just a few more inches of uptravel and my bad luck at superstition!!

 

i know i will run a trail on saturday with the group but we will definately do the sunday free for all again but this time we will have to stay out of the sand so i don't burn my clutch up so much again!!!! i will be taking that friday off to get a good camp spot and i will bring a bbq and carne asada like last year but you cheap suckas better pony up a couple of bucks for the carne this time(j/k most of you did last year, except for the dirty heavy metal crowd!)

 

eh this seems like too big of an event for me to go to. too many people. i have a hard enough time remembering the names of my friends and family, let alone 2.4 million strangers in heeps.

ill have to run this with you guys sometime later (spring time?)

Seriously though, I'm down to pitch in joke or not. You make some good ass carne.

Until they all flake out, it sounds like I have a couple of buddies coming out this year. We'll pitch in and bring some food too.

On a side note, I think the Deathrunner might be making a full recovery. Protrux replaced my front cover as a last resort before replacing the block. I think that just might have been where the leak was going down. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

 

Do you suppose we could do repairs to hot exhaust on the trail with those?

 

Not sure about that but Mickey did find out that OveGloves and open camp fire flames do not mix. He supported all the stereo-types by stating,

"Hey guys check this out........Oh S*&^! THat is hot."

So fun hanging around the fire Sat night. Our group is just good people all around.
