You can join our crew in Murphy if you would like, I'm not sure when Jason, Jeremy and I will be leaving or getting into Murphy, but it would be alot latter than 12:00 so I'm sure that would work for you. Trips are never hard until you get about 10-15 miles out, once you hit the NC mountain area is when it should be about time to team up. That is why I'm following someone who has been there before, Jason your leading .

 

anyone from ga heading up? chances are ill probably end up coming and riding shotgun depending if i can get stuff straightened out on my truck. also, are the campsites that have already been reserved along the creek like last time?
just so know where to reserve mine.

I'm not sure as to where they are, I just called and told him to put me on a powered site with the 4Runner group, and that was when there was only 2 other ppl. signed up, so chance are he'll know what your talking about. If you need, you might be able to squeez in with Jason and I, Jermey may not be coming if he can't get his engine running.

 

nah. havent reserved a site yet. i emailed him, and he said some were still available. i might just end up sleeping in my rig instead of bringing a tent. hmm..the possiblities.

haha... man aren't you out of the loop! I'm comming up from savannah, and there are people staying both at campsites on the creek and at a cabin by the creek. I'm not sure how many people are actually going to be coming up with me but there are 10 beds in my place. I'm going to have to play it by ear though because people keep telling me one thing then another the next time I see them. I kind-of expected this much though...

I've been told 4, 5 ,6, and 8. Those are the ones they ran last time. Brian says they are good enough to keep things interesting but not enough to be scared of. either, just up my alley.

 

Those are the trails I'll be running. We might want to watch some people come up slickrock-we can do that from the top of 8.

 

i live about 35 minutes north of atlanta, we will be going straight up 575/515 to get to murphy, i should have one person riding with me. you are welcome to meet up with us if you want. I am about two hours from milledgville, depending on traffic and how you drive, i know my sister usually does it in less than that when she comes home from school. we won't be leaving until friday afternoon.

Here we go again, as long as there are a couple 4Runners there, and at least one with a winch, I'll be there. It's not often I take a weekend off and I'm going to use it to it's potential.
