Slaughterhouse Gulch Run on Sunday

Interesting report, Scott. I will definitely look forward to some pics! Heck, I was waiting for some last night, but there wasn't a word spoken!
Alan, Chinaman's is in the Buena Vista area and is rated an 8 or 9, depending on your source.
Yeah Scott, sliders are my next item other than Mike's skid plate. I wouldn't run that trail without sliders. I am planning on those in the next month. What are your thoughts on that trail? If it's just big rocks, that's excellent, but are there any huge off-camber areas or what's your take? I just like to be mentally prepared. Got my Lars discos put on yesterday which would also be a huge plus.

I would say Chinamans is an 8. Based on the large rocks your climbing over. It's a great run because it's not really that scary. No real shelf roads and off-camber pitches to worry about. Your down in the middle of a gully for most of the difficult sections. Very similar Martinez canyon in AZ that Steve took me on.
Sliders, 33's and a locker or traction ctrl., and you gonna have a blast.

Sorry I couldn't go everyone.
I got a call while getting ready, my friend locked her keys in her car while it was running.
I got volunteered to pick her up and take her home and back to the gas station. By the end of that ordeal it was 9:10. I would have been an hour and a half late.
I hope you didn't waste too much time waiting for me. I feel bad about missing it.
I'll be ready for Chinaman's in a month. That should give me time to finish a few projects i've started. No more highway driving on trail pressure tires for us. No more paying $1 for air from a vending machine either. I got an AC pump for a high volume on board air system.

I figured something came up Matt. Your always the first one at the trailhead.
On board air sounds good. Glad your planning on the Chinamans run Sat. April 5th. I need to your help leading us up the first portion of the trail.
