Slaughterhouse gulch 5/14
I went to Slaughterhouse gulch/Crow Hill 4x4 trail today. I had heard that the trail was rated as easy to moderate which for the most part was true, but there were definitly some hard parts where it got very off camber, tipy, and slidey. I went with my new 97 4runner, which has the rear locker that was a huge help, a jeep cherokee, and a 1986 4runner. We had a great day, and I would recomend this trail to everyone. sorry for some bad news, but there wasn't much mud at all. I had read somewhere that there was supposed to be a few mud bogs but we couldnt find them. Maybe I saw them, but since I am so used to Louisiana mud, it didnt look like anything. Everything was pretty dry except for scattered puddles, and one slick part. You will still have PLENTY of fun though!
