It is amazing how easily payment records for registrations and t-shirts can disappear.

Andy drove the Dana 44 4Runner through Box Canyon and rode up Yellow Belly once. I did it again, but he passed on a second ride.

He really liked the leaf spring ride and live axles on everything, even the washboard.

He had a great time and so did I.

Andy had a great time and got back 2 hours late, so you KNOW we had a good time.

Any pics of the "hillbilie" driving the D44 Runner?

I can only imagine what 2 hours late means for you guys.

I told him a good place to take his wife for dinner and I think everything was fine after that.

I don't think I have any pics of him driving it, but he did. He flys back today and has a long journey to get home.

He did say he thought it was pretty Big/Tall. Thats' with a spring under.

From your pics I've always thought it looked pretty tall myself, so I can't even imagine some of these full bodied 3rd gen rigs with spring overs and 37s.

Money should be there by the time you find this... You guys will like who is coming. They are both a trip, and good looking to boot

Well,
If I do win anything that is vehicle specific it will first be offered to Marc, then up for sale at my normal, extremely low yotatech price...

Since nobody checks the T-shirt thread,
Brian and I have been chatting and he thinks we should tone it down and make it less intricate. Its hard to keep things basic and still make it look good (you guys are so hard to please... ), but its traced from his rig.

Figures :pat:
Only thing I see is getting rid of the line that is supposed to be BEHIND the rear bumper, other than that I'm cool with it. Thanks Austin.

thanks again steve. you da man.

your chit is tall too. and the 44runner --- well, it's badass to say the least. i had a blast in the desert and am proud to say that i've had the opportunity to drive your rig, even if it was thru box canyon.

i'll have pics up later today, but for now, this should give everyone an idea as to what i got to be a part of: Clicky the Linky for a Sonoran Steel Forum Thread about the Trip

(disclaimer on the link for language - not as bad as pirate, but there aren't any "bannable words" over there.)

i'll have a "trip report" thread on YT later as well.

now back on topic...

I verified the registration list tonight...everyone paid is accounted for. Next I'll check the t-shirt list and update it.

Talking

I got a big box of goodies from Trail Gear today....the knuckle rebuild kit w/ the wheel bearing kits...lots of beanies, lots of tee shirts in various sizes and a TON of stickers...enough to cover an entire rig at least...maybe twice.
