SD Run on Sunday Feb 15?

I got the thumbs up for sunday since I'll be there from Fri - Mon.

My better half will be with me as she told me as long as she's chillin w/ me it's okay. So let's go somewhere!!

The only concern at this point is that I don't have my 4runner yet. It's w/ Demello Offroad on the bumpers. Last pictures I saw that Jason took were parts of the truck w/ the new steel bumper. And it looks sweet but not ready for presentation. So that said, if I get my truck back and I can drive it, I'd love to see ya guys this sunday to give it a quick run! The ride can be a few hours long as I don't have much planned for Sunday anyway.

Ya guys wanna do a quick run?

I'll be certain of my status on the truck by Thursday afternoon so I'll be back here to write to ya on my status. Gotta do a quick alignment too as the last Bear run I did tweaked the steering...

Anything as long as I don't scare the gf... She was pretty surprised as it is at Bear so I think I gotta keep it fairly safe. Somewhere with some great views to take pictures and what not

But since now I'm fully protected I suppose anything is good as long as I can fit. I'll be stayin near SD Airport so no where too far from that area is fine (I know I'll have to head east so...)

I second Carvacre.
Perfect length for a short day trip. She won't be scared.

Oh yeah, I've got a dinner party to go to at 3pm. So if we can go in the morning(like 10am) I'll make it for sure.

It looks like I should get my truck back in time for tomorrow night when I drive down to SD!!

It'll only have the front bumper as the rear isn't quite done yet (still needs powdercoating done).

But it's better than nothing...

I"ll give Rob a call fri night to confirm so we can do something on sunday! I'm free all day so whatever works for me.

I'll be offline from fri night on so I'll have Rob give ya guys the 411.

Damn Lance you're fast, I barely deleted and reposted with the links done correctly.
So my pics should be above Lance's comment.

Ok, so Lance is gonna be out here Sunday morning, so we'll be meeting at 10am-Tavern Rd exit off of 8E at the Carls Jr. Then off to the trail, post if you can make it,so we'll know if we should wait. He said he got his new front bumper on so that will be cool to see in person.

Well, I took Lance on Carvacre and then onto Hanglider hill (San Diego 4x4 training grounds) and with the lift, tires, and high clearance front bumper we did extremely well on all obstacles thrown at him. While on Carvacre I made him take all the alternate(hard) lines including going to the top of Pancake rock! Once he passed that no problem, I thought I might as well take him over to hanglider just to see how he fairs on that. Basically cruised right up after me, even though it does seem tougher now that Josh tore up that one section that gave Marc a hard time also. I ended up taking a slightly different line than I normally do since it's really dug out in the deeper ruts. I didn't have my camera, so pics will come soon, I got to figure out how to upload my brothers camera. But with his camera I was able to get some short video clips also, Lance will be hosting those soon also. Oh yeah, he's the first non-locked vehicle that I've taken up to hanglider thats made it up the hard side without help (strap/winch)
