For those who wanted to camp, sorry if you couldn't find a spot. I was unable to go out there on Friday and grab a couple sites because my daughter was sick.
I thought the trip went ok except for the quad thing
When they asked about bringing the quad, I thought that meant 4x4 quad

Cal..Dog & Jessie..
Thanks for leading the runs. It was great fun.
Cal..Dog, I think Toyota must be using a Ford horn relay in the new cruisers...
Anyway, here's the TTORA link:

Hey Bryan, thanks for leading the run , I had a blast. Yea, thanks for pulling me out of that mud pit, though it a little embarrassing to tell people that I had to get towed by a "mini van". It was great wheeling with you guys, hopefully we can go back and complete Sidewinder sometime.
I have to say, your cruiser did allot better than I had first thought. Well, it is a Toyota after all.
If I had thought about it at the time, I would have stolen the cooling fan off that Ford in the trail for my Toy.
I'll post some pics when I get them

Bryan,
To repeat what both Zach and Jim have said, all your work that went into planning and what not in this trip was much appreciated by both my brother (the little skinny guy in my passenger seat) and I. I was glad to help pull "the van" out. I know you would have done the same for me. Just thought it was funny that all the vehicles except the Tacomas on the TTORA trip had to be pulled once or more. Kinda odd huh?
Anyways, i look forward to going out with you and the others once again soon, so i'll definatly try and keep in touch with ya'll.

Zach, I finally found a use for the big heavy Cruiser. Vehicle recovery is easy with the weight and the V8
Matt, I admire your driving style, now get a cheap lift like OME and you will be set!

yeeeeha... thats so awsomwe. Did you get t-case gears, or are you going dual's?
What kind of clutch did you get? I just installed Marlin's 1600# heavy duty kit and boy does it ever grab. I didn't realise how much my old one was slippin 'till I dropped the new one in.
Let me know if you could use another hand installing this thing, I'd love to see how they go in. I've also got an improvised tranny jack you could borrow if you want.
For a while know I've been trrying to decide if I 'm gonna to put a bunch of money in to my suspension or go dual crawlers. I'm thinking know that I'll go with the crawlers and do suspension later.
Sidewinder, here we come!

i ordered a whole new tcase with the gears in it. i might eventually go duals but for right now just some lower gearing would be sweet..... i stoked to hear about you clutch and i will probaly take you up on your tranny jack and help offer...... i was going to redo my suspension but since my clutch was wasted i figured while i got the tranny out.....

I want to go next time. Deathrunner is going in soon for phase II, but once I get her back it's on.

Who is interested in doing another east county sd run before it gets too hot? I'm thinking about June 11 or 12...
Any ideas where? I've done the Corral Canyon thing already, thinking maybe In-Ko-Pa and Smugglers Cave area.

New Guy to your SD group. However, I have been going to Coral Canyon quite a bit with some Jeep Guys. The trails are in great shape now that the rains have passed. I would really like to tag along for a trip with a bunch of Yota guys. Last weekend we did the gunslinger trail which is pretty tight with some great rock sections. Rock sliders are a must have. I would be up for where ever though.
