Run to Tuttle (Manhattan, Kansas)

I'll be heading to Tuttle on Sunday the 12th with my usual J*#p friends.

Anyone want to come along and help me represent for Toyota?

Tempting, if I didn't already have a run down here on the 11th....

I'll probably plan on rolling out of town around 7:00 am. My other friends are camping out the night before, so we will meet them at the staging area around 9:30.

Bummer...

Tracy can't make it either...my only hope now is Jake.

FYI I will be heading back to Tuttle Halloween weekend with the Tornado Alley Cruisers. We will most likely camp Friday and Saturday night.

Couldn't get off work, my new management is ridiculous. They gave me next sunday off. I have to let them know at least 2 weeks in advance now. When are you planning on going again? Or maybe KS Rocks sometime? I think we need to schedule a solid date next month so we will all be able to go.

ARRRGH I hate it when work gets in the way of having fun. But, it IS how we pay for our toys

As far as next month is concerned, I'm already planning on being at Tuttle Halloween weekend for the www.tornadoalleycruisers.com weekend. We will camp all weekend.

Great bunch of folks and very family oriented. I have already mentioned it to Tracy and I'm pretty sure Sebastian will be making it down.

Beyond that, I'm not sure how the rest of my weeekends look.

Well guys here's what you missed...if I get more pics from my friends, I'll post them later.

It was a good day to wheel and the weather was perfect.

Hey Ric: Does this ledge look familiar? That was the highlight of the day...getting over this with no assistance..that is unless you count that little rock in front of my rear tire.

HEY...those tires look like mine! Of course I'm on 33x10.5s, but same tire.

I haven't run trails much since I put them on, so I wanted to ask:
Did you air down any?
How do you like them for: mud? rocks? snow?

That's a good picture, btw. Looks like you guys had fun...wish I had been there.

Yes I typically air down to around 18 lbs. I have been very pleased with the performance of the tires on and off road. They currently have 60K on them and are about due to be replaced.

The sidewall really got pinched this past weekend and held up great!
