Well for some of us, that is not an option. It's too far away, but the REAL badlands are more accessable for us.

We are talking Teddy Roosevelt National park in North Dakota, either the north or south unit, or else Custer state park in South Dakota.

I know that my family would be interested in some back-country scenery as we have started to visit the Sheyenne National Grasslands closer to home. The wife is anxious to see what the Badlands/Blackhills are all about.

I believe COcajun is up for this as well.

Anyone else interested in these areas?

I know there is a Jeep group out of the Sturgis/Rapid City SD areas that might be fun to get together with.

 

I'll have have my mother and a new bride with me while we're up there so we would love to hook up with the fam for some wheelin. Leaving Colorado Sept 2nd and headed back on the 5th so we would be in for Sat. the 3rd or Sun. te 4th.
