I work till 4pm in harrisburg on friday. i am considering coming straight from work because it will save me about 50miles of travel as i live in the opposite direction. Also that would get me there before dark and i could try to round up some wood for a campfire. however, if no one else is going to show up till say 8 or 9pm I would probably go home for a bit and then come up later in the evening.

I am from the east side of Lancaster (near all the outlets) but I live in Maytown now. My wife's from Pine Grove which is pretty darn close to Rausch Creek. I graduated a few more than 2 years ago

Just upgraded (they're pretty used) to some 35's I got off craigslist for $60 - here's what she'll look like: (yes, that's rock rash from Rausch on the door)

Pretty off-topic, but I don't think I'd do the bracket lift again. I did a few years ago before I ever saw myself doing any rock crawling. I don't really regret it, but I don't think I'd do it again. I'm working on another 4runner and selling this one eventually.

I'm sure we'll see each other Saturday - Rausch Creek has been 90% Jeeps the times I've been there, so you notice when a Yota goes by.

I was up there on the 7th, and was a great time. I've got a bracket lift, and after the trip I'm getting a front skid plate. I banged the rocks enough times to know where my weakness is. I should have one made in the next couple of weeks.

I'm planning on going up there again on Sunday, 4/19. If you guys want to go then, let me know.

P.S. Here is a video of my trip. The first one is real time, the second is the same video sped up with music.

Fast Version (17.6 MB)

Yeah, I've meant to make one of them too, but haven't yet. We're taking at least one new guy this time and his Jeep is stock, so we probably won't be doing anything terribly difficult or I might have been more worried about it. Last time we did some blue/black's and my front crossmember took a beating - differential hit once.
