Question about CO trails
I was up fly fishing today on the beaver ponds just downstream of Jefferson Lake, and decided to do some exploring on the way home. If you go right instead of left (towards J.Lake) you wind up going past Michigan Creek CG, along the creek, and eventually at the base of Glacier Peak with a cool sign about the Continental Divide you're standing on. There are also two other trails you can take, marked with a sign saying "high clearance 4wd only" and Middle Fork / South Fork. They don't show up on my Delorme map at least that I can see, and it was almost dark already so I didn't dare take my stock 4runner down even a little bit of them.
Does anyone know where these trails go, etc? One of them had a big pile of snow in front of it, but the other one seemed clear at least at the top. They both went down the other side of the hill away from me.
Just curious...
