guys, just as a reminder:

if you are caravan'ing, remember to caravan safely. it is not a race. i've seen stupid caravaners blocking entire highways and ive also seen entire caravans pretending to be wanna-be-cannonball racers.

so guys.. it doesn't look like i'm gonna make it :-( :-( I actually *graduated* from school down there, and moved up to the sacramento area for my new job (gasp! a career!). Since this is only my 3rd week, i don't think i can request friday off to come down.. so it's a no go. Sorry! hope you all have fun. .. and I've noticed that a lot of the people posting on here are from Sac. We're gonna have to get together and go wheelin!! send me a pm or email.

As from my previous post, I'm eating lunch in Carpenteria. If anyone wants to join me and my lady, feel free to join us. We'll be leaving Oceanside around 8. PM me if you need a cell # or something.

Well i cam coming from Rancho Cucamonga, but at this point i do not know what time i will be leaving. My friends that are going have some things to take care of before we leave, so i dont want to make any arrangements for meeting with anybody, since i am not fully sure i can pull through. If you want, PM me your cell # and i will PM you mine, and we can play it as we can, and if we meet up we do, if not, ill see you up there...

Hey cal, what time where you thinking on heading out? If I can swing it, maybe I could catch ya headed out and fall in line? Always wanted to go up there, and really need to go "missing" for a couple days.....haven't had chance to hit any trails and never really gotten to know my '91....
And I've got spare CB or 2 lying around if you or some1 from the valley needs/wants to use 'em. I think the CB's that I've got are mated to small linears (i'd say between 175watts and 225 watts).....w/ only 4 watts CB power....you can't even be heard across the street....lol ... offer stands on loaning out a CB or 2 even If I myself can't get away

good luck starting the career russell! too bad you can't make this trip. i'll be up in sac until early september so we'll definitely wheel before then dude.

well, i'll be driving down with colin's yota and my friend's tahoe as well (probably, but not 100%). if any one wants to join the caravan anywhere on I-5 between Sac and Highway 41/46, let me know. looking forward to this trip for sure.

I don't know what the prices are but if you do decide to rent ATVs at the beach be sure to get there early. We tried to rent some at Pismo 1 and they were out before noon.
