nice and simple. and the

BACK

will be a photo of a two or three yotas. if two, each angled poiting toward the camera, if 3 the two outer ones angled and the center truck straight on. in the sky on top will read "3rd annual Pismo 4Runner Jamboree" and in the sand below the trucks "August 5-7, 2005 · Oceano Dunes SVRA, CA" the photo will be slightly photochopped to give it a more interesting, abstract appearance, but the trucks will still be reconizeable. that can be part of the fun this trip is getting just the right shot that will be featured on the shirt. then after the trip i'll design it and put the order in right away to cafe press and y'all can have your pismo shirts shortly after. sound good?
that sounds good dude. i'll definitely be interested in a shirt.

what about using an action shot? that might be cool too... maybe someone catching some air, or roosting sand all over... just an idea.

Hopefully this heat wave dies down by then. I can't imagine the agony of a Friday traffic-filled drive to Pismo in my 1st gen WITHOUT A/C!!! :pat:

Hey now. Casey can NOW lay some serious smack down with that monster. Things have changed alot. If Yotatech gave a "Most Improved" award, we know who would get it.

Getting stuck at Pismo to being the ONLY IFS truck to run the Rubicon on the opening week in 2 years. That is truly amazing.

But if he does not care, I don't

When I got stuck, I had a boat anchor attached, in the form of a VW buggy with passengers that I tried to go up a razor back slope. I made it but the buggy pulled me to a complete stop. Spun the wheels down for the fun of it, had to get pulled backwards to unhook the tow line, then I was able to get out.

Hey Charles how you liking my beadlocked 35's? I'm surprised you haven't posted any pictures with them on yet....

LOVE THEM x 987497.
i actually did post one, in the "which wheels should i get" thread. no one said anything. maybe beadlocked 35s are too ubiquitous now?
can't wait to get mine back from OMF and rock them on the dunes.

Hey I just heard about this from Mikey... I'll be heading down with him in my "newly-upgraded" rig, so add me to the list.

I haven't been to Pismo in years and this sounds pretty fun.
I've got a question though. I remember that you used to be able to enter the dunes from the back side. Is that still possible? It's been years like I said and I know the portions that have been shut down may have stopped that access.
I'll check the calendar for the trip.

The back side as in Oso Flaco Lake (South of the dunes now)? You can no longer get into the dunes from Oso Flaco.

Question - Where are we camping at. I RSVP for Oceano Dunes. Are we Campint by the Beach or in the Dunes? Anyone leaving the Bay Area Friday at around 5:30PM. I am in San Jose.
