You know Casey, I saw earlier on a TTORA thread something about a conference down here in the San Diego area re: shutting down Pismo to vehicles. Some conservation group was trying to shut it down but they ended up losing the case - maybe they're just trying to slowly push us out 1/4 mile at a time...

you guys are right about pismo getting smaller...
they are slowly closing it using plant regrowth and the snowy plover bird as reasons for the closures... I saw it in the paper a few months back

I think the only thing keeping it open at this point is the fact that Pismo and the surrounding cities will lose millions in tax revenue from all the tourists if the beach gets closed to wheeling.

Ask just about anyone out there and they can point you in the direction of a booth out there to sign up

Oh just save to harddrive first before playing, it is still more than 9MB.

So you guys remember that mini burning man event? Well, it's a bunch of people who collect their junkmail and then burn it. "The Junkmail Man community collects junkmail all year long and then builds a 20 foot tall man stuffed with junkmail."

Josh,
Just looking through your pictures and my favorite thus far...
LOOK OUT! That comet is headed for Lance!
My favorite Pismo picture was taken by Milton's passenger (Mr. Redrunner, I think)
One of VERY FEW action shots of my rig - on it's own power, anyway
