Awesome... October 15th sounds like a cool time... Where did you move to, Mike? I'm down for the 15th, that way whoever is going can plan a little bit further in advance.

i moved back to Sac for the summer. i'm in SLO for school, so i just went home for the summer... honestly though, i can't wait to get back. this 100+ degree weather sucks...

 

That's cool... and tell me about the crappy heat... Bakersfield is TERRIBLE in the summer... I need to move out of here... Hahahah

 

Tell me about it. I lived in Bakersfield for 17 years, before moving to Sacramento for the last 18. WTF???

When is a good time for Pismo?

AFTER the gas prices stop increasing hourly!

 

Hey guys I"m heading to Pismo w/a bunch of friends mostly runners and a few Land Criusers on the Nov. 4th and 5th thats on a sat and sun! Let me know if you guys are planning to head out there also! I coming from Oxnard in Ventura County about 3hrs away from Pismo so if you guys live around Oxnard we can probably all roll out together!

 

I'm definitely going to Pismo over the weekend of OCT. 15th... This will probably have to be the first and last trip (for a while) with my lift until gas prices go down... Tacoma Dude is right... Here at the Mobil down the street, it hit $3.09 (Regular) last night...

 

Newbie here,
I saw the video of the last trip and it look like you all had a blast. I am down for pismo beach around that time. How will my 2wd 4Runner do? I will also try to go to the surf and turf thing if just for a day.

 

I'm not sure how a 2WD Runner will do, but a long time ago we had gone in a 2WD Dakota, it did ALRIGHT... As long as you're not mashing the throttle I think you'll be alright. Plus, I'm sure people will have recovery straps and whatnot... just don't make them pull you out every few minutes!? heh heh Hope to see ya there!

 

I have a 2wd & it does ok with a aussie locker/stock gears.
