O' Wells to Oco via plaster city Sat 29th

we are going from Ocotillo Wells to Ocotillo on Saturday the 29th.
We are meeting a tthe Blu-Inn on the 78 at 10:30-11:00.
We will, if i get my way, then be driving east on the 78 for about 10 miles to the yuha desert where we will take a sand wash to a cross terrain jeep road too a drop off to a sand wash to either the back side of the Sups(blow sand to be exact) wherer we will play, if all cant get in there we can go around to the south side via sand hiway. We will then head over towards plaster city and ocotillo and end up at the Lazy lizard for a 5$ pitcher.
this is not a club run. i am from Team Bad Habits so dont act shocked if i cus or piss people off and dont really care that said i'm a hell of a nice guy who knows this area well from racing Mc's and years of desert time.
It will be fun.
Mike

And if you are interested RLDRNR and I will be camping behind the Blu-Inn Friday night. We might be in San Felipe wash south of the 78 trying to get some morning shade to sleep off the hangover

what more info could you need???? j/k
Myself

my friend RLDRNR

a couple trucks from TTORA...possibly some LT rigs
leaving from the Blu-Inn off the 78 at Ocotillo Wells...
there are a couple fun ways to get to superstition from there, if i get to lead then we will be going through the Yuha dez just past the border check east of o wells
play in the sand at superstition, head towards plaster city, and ocotillo, back home on the 8
looks like i might be camping friday night with alex behind the blu-inn and having 20-30 beers then b-fast at the inn sat morn. and leave around 10:30-11...giving us about 7 hours of light.

Nice avatar. I may be down with that. As long as most of the driving is going to be off the pavement that sounds good to me.

It willl either be all off pavement or we might do about 10 miles befor airing down...depends on what the group wants to do. i know of a real fun route to the backside of the sups with a neat little drop into a wash then up to the west end of the sups
come on out, i've been wanting to meet some of the SD yotatech folks
There will at lesat 1 2wd rig there, the RLDRNR but he gets around all right.

Damn, I'd be in, but I'm having a penis transplant surgery that day.

I'd like to know the route between the two places. Next time you run it, I'm down.

Make sure they give you a quick disconnect on that new penis of yours. People have written songs about the convienence of a removable penis!

Bombs? I hope you're kidding. I don't think my suspension could handle a bomb blast. hahahaha

Don't worry about the transplant, the model I chose to swap in is called "The Paper Weight", it should work out nicely.

As far as detachable, Jared, I already lose guitar picks, car keys, and other important items.

yeah lots of old and current bombing ranges, sometimes in the D38 MC races they get permission for us to actually ride through the perimiter of em

We gotta camp some time, play guitar, and my friend RLDRNR plays the Cello. Ever heard Blues or punk cello?

first post is updated as well

Ah, so it's more of a Baja-style run? That would be nice for a change of pace.

believe me, i like to rock crawl, i go looking for sections and occasionally go to corral canyon, but only with a couple trucks, i cant stand all that waiting, stopping, going 20 feet watching darrells having trouble on the first obstacle. We will be mostly going fastish, but there will be some tougher sections, it will be interesting to see how the 2wd trucks do through some of it, probly the only one who might have a little trouble will my buddy alex but i doubt even that.
There will something for everyone on this run, tight washes, fast smooth roads, cross terrain, sand dunes, whoops, etc
