Anyone know of any beginner/intermediate trail in or within a few hours of the raleigh/garner area in north carolina? i would love to get into this hobby but don't know where to start. any help would be appreciated

 

try uwharrie national forrest. Its not too far from you (about an hour or 2 away.

though about that but i have a 2WD locked truck not the best on a 4WD trail i am going this summer to see how my truck will do but kinda looking for something closer

 

You can do Uhwarrie in 2wd, there are only 2 trails that you probably couldn't do. It's a good place to get your feet wet with trail riding.

 

Be sure to check out the trail rides section of the 4RocNC page... There are a couple Uwharrie meets and a couple Tellico meets on there as well. I need to update the info on the SE4RJ-3 info but you get the idea...
