12/8 Friday night - quick run on Fins and Things - OR - the beginning of poison spider.

12/9 Sat - Hells Revenge and thewn some screwing arounf on Porcupine Rim or parts of Fins and things

12/10 Sunday Morning - Do parts of Seven Mile rim, Top of the world or Klondike Bluffs. The plan is to get done at a reasonable time so people can drive back for work Monday.

Wish I could make it. Too far of a drive for a weekend trip. I was just there (Moab) over thanksgiving weekend for the first time and it was awesome. I was solo so I didn't run any of the slickrock trails but traveled up to Dead Horse SP via Long Canyon and then down Potash from Grandview Overlook. Even that was awesome. Have fun and be sure to post some pics. It's beautiful country.

Lets see some pics from Fins and Things. I want to know if my stock 91 4runner will do fine on this trail.

Yes, a stock truck will be fine on Fins - I think the only reason it's rated "difficult" is that it's a bit steep and can get a little puckery, but it's not difficult. The traction is unbelievable. You DO need to pay attention though, because (as with most Moab slickrock trails) the penalty for inattention could be SEVERE. The two "big" obstacles are Frenchy's Fin and Kenny's Climb. Both are doable in a stock rig, but there are bypasses for both. Only pix I have are in the rain in October:

Frenchy's Fin (the truck pictured is a stock open/open Taco on 29's)
