Fortunately, Tahuya is a State forest, so it's not mismanaged by the forest circus

For the run, groups sound fine, as long as the trail bosses know where they're going. It almost sounds like a mini jamboree based on the rigs LA says might be coming. Someone might think it was an organized event or something

Oh-No, no organizing here...., I heard what happen to the Summer Jam......Ummmmm, that's not right. So......incase anyone wants to know.......lol, this is a "non-official", "unorganized" run...lol, we're just a bunch of friends and co-workers out to have a good time, it just happens that I like to send invites to whoever wants to come. I don't get out as much as others do or as much as I want to, so...... when I do, I like to send out the invites to all.
It just happen that people started chiming in and e-mailing for times and dates.......It must be, because it's after the holidays.
..LOL L.A.& R.A.

I am very much looking forward to it! Now there should be a little more snow on the ground as well! I am from down south...and all the people who I have met from 4ROC are coming from the north by Ferry...I guess I will be meeting a bunch of new people bright and early next saturday morning
Edit: Also I just installed a new CB in my rig...wondering if anyone could bring a SWR meter so I could get it tuned?!?!

People coming from the north, are all meeting at the ferry docks in Seattle before 0845 to take the 0845 ferry to Bermenton, at Bermenton they will drive to Befair to meet everyone else at the Safeway by 1000-1030 / Total time of travel to get from Seattle to Belfair 1 hour. COST for the ferry I believe is $9.00 per vehicle
**People coming from the south are all gonna meet at Tacoma Mall by 0800, then we will be leaving the mall at 0830. This will give us time to get to the Safeway in Belfair by 0930-1000. Total time of travel from Tacoma mall to Befair, 1 hour or so.
P.S. So if your coming from the south, there will be some of us meeting at the Tacoma mall at 0800 to drive over, My wife and I use to drive to Seattle then take the ferry, I did the math and found out the drive to Seattle from south auburn is around 35 miles and from south Auburn to Belfair is around 41/42 miles give or take. and by driving it cut out an hour. Due to the ferry ride. :pat: LOL "What Was I Thinking!!!"lol

LA&RA,
No big deal, anyone can make that mistake. I know the area fairly well, inluding the whole area from Allyn to Sheldon. My family used to have a Cabin on Harstine Island, and there were many routes possible to get there.

It is possible to break down into three main groups based on ability and desire for heavy water crossings.
One, stock models starting from the first inlet into the park,
two, slight modified, tires, lift, starting in the first inlet, but splitting at the main Y heading right,
third, locked , lifted, in the second inlet into the park, taking the service road, directly back to the backforty for the tight technical stuff and new rock gardens.
Just an idea. The number of vehicles, in three groups still might be a bit large making it difficult. So the last option of staying in one group may also be a good idea, staggering difficulty from locked first two stock last, allowing for staggered arrival as well?
