After sharing the roads in the immediate area of my work with these people for a while, I have become convinced that when you go to the BMW dealership, the first thing that happens is they give you an exam to make sure that you are a big enough @ss to own one of their cars. If you don't pass, they send you away. If you do, then they talk terms.

Now, I am not saying that ALL BMW owners are @ssh---s, but from what I have seen, it certainly seems a disproportionate percentage of them seem to fit that definition quite comfortably.

Hey, Mike w/ the new house and all packing, moving and unpacking and unpacking....oh, did I mention unpacking?.lol
I haven't had time to get to that, but I will have that and hopefully other things done but the Tahuya run.

Loy sounds like payback time....hint...hint
Anytime bro, after 4yrs I finally get to unpack all my tools and that alone is gonna take til' Jan. but most of the tools should be unpacked....."not organized" but unpacked before the run. Soooo if for some reason you can't do your CV's at your place you are more then welcome to do it over here, but if you can do it at your place give me a call and I'll come over.

P.S. Hey Bradda!!! if you want I can run to tacoma and get us some BBQ from you know where...... before I come over.

10th! Weeeeeee!

It looks like it'll be a big group... We need to decide on a meeting place - There's a ferry ride to Bremerton involved right? So, do we meet down at the docks?

good question. i almost think it would be better to meet somewhere before the ferry, but then we have a chance of waiting too long for somebody to show up and we all miss the ferry. how have you guys done the whole meeting thing in the past?

The last time I went, we picked a ferry that we were going to take, and it was up to each vehicle to get on there on time. It takes a while to get loaded and such, so meeting somewhere else beforehand seems to be a bit tricky. There isn't a real convenient place to meet right at the docks, from what I remember.

I would think we'd want to go earlier rather than later, due to the time it takes to get there.

Now I'm thinking that it makes sense to set two meeting spots...

1) pick a ferry time for those taking the Bremerton ferry...

then 2) pick a meeting time/place on the otherside for those that would take a different ferry or are already over there. e.g., I think Rome (seafarinman) is already on that side of the sound, and folks coming down from the north may take a different route.

I think there's a Safeway on the drive over to the actual wheeling spot where we could meet. Someone who knows the area should probably jump in and suggest a spot.

Yeah,

A Safeway in Belfair just at the corner where you take a turn to head North West to the ORV park. It is also a good place, aproximately 5 miles from the ORV park for airing back up if needed. Name a time, and we can use that for the West side meeting place.

do we have to take a ferry from Belfair?

I am deffinatly down to go, however, my rig is stock...it's an 85' 4unner...

I do however only have tow hooks in the front as well, nothing in the rear to tow it...

I don't think that I will be able to make it. I am reporting for duty in January to the USS Ford in Everett and I need to find a place to live that is a bit closer. I am living on Whidbey Island and it will be a hell of a commute. Hope you guys have fun
