I've been thinking of buying a digital camera anyway and may do it for the trip. Does anyone else have one? I'll definitely have my SLR with film if not a digital.

Toyo: What kind of camera did you use? It took some pretty nice shots.

 

I used a Fujifilm 30i finepix. It's only 2 megapixels, but does the job quite well. Also it plays mp3's, which is the best part I don't think i've seen a digital camera here in the states play mp3's yet.

btw I got this back in Hong Kong for only 150 a few years back

 

hey speaking of cameras. Did anyone find a small black samsonite camera bag from the last trip?

 

I didn't find one in my truck sorry! but do you think you could post some of the pics from the last run on community webshots or something? I want to see your shots! this time I am bringing my own camera... nothing beats the $4 Kodak disposables!!!

Where are the Attica badlands at anyhow?
I've never heard of them before and the pics I'm seeing around look pretty sweet.

You can get the flags from anywhere like Wal-mart or somethin. Don't wait until you get to attica and buy it there, they're expensive as hell.

Attica is 20 minutes southwest of West Lafayette, Indiana.

 

Those who cant make it the 24th...check out the chicago thread. A group is going the 7th of June. I think Ill be going both weekends, but at the very least the 24th.

For those camping, infront of the badlands entrance is a large campground. Ive never campped there, so I dont know the details other than those on badlandsoffroad.com .

Andrew, I'll be at the Indy as well. My fiance's dad is taking us to the race. Hoorah! I've never been having grown up in Kansas until heading out here for school and my job in Indy. I went to school at Rose, right there in Terre Haute.

Which brings up a question, my fiance is allowed to come right? I'm not spoiling guys weekend out by bringing her along am I? I've never been on one of these so I wanted to make sure.

Yeah, went to Rose and graduated last summer... '02. My degree was Civil Engineering and I was in a fraternity for only 6 months. I was in Pi Kappa Alpha but then the money ran out and all the guys were my friends anyway, so I got out. Who is your friend? What year is he? I may know him... Rose is pretty small and I know a lot of people there.
