I can't say for sure...but maybe they used DIVX?
You can download the codec here... http://www.divx.com/

(WMP will not download that codec automatically)

Just a heads up...

The "free" version of the DivX codec installs GAIN pop-up advertisement software on your computer. It's fairly easy to remove GAIN while keeping the DivX functionality. I won't post the instructions here, but a quick search on Google for "DivX Pro Gator remove" should get you there pretty quickly.

EDIT: Actually, the standard playback only DivX codec doesn't include GAIN. That might be a better solution for people who only want to watch DivX files, not encode them. Here's the link: Standard DivX Codec (Free)

wow that was awsome!!!! my friend said he saw a green 2nd gen the other day with the back cut off like that one, but it was also bobbed. crazy canadians!!!!
