We had 7 Surfs/Runners gathered on Sunday at a site in Norfolk. We had a great time messing around out there. Funny how all three of the 3.0 Runners got buried..hahha We were the only ones be adventurous. I buried mine to the doors. First time I have ever gotten stuck stuck in my truck. LUKE buried his as well going through I a hole I convinced him to try.. We had a good day overall and met some cool people from the Hilux Surf forum over here. Here's the pics. hehe..looks like you guys had fun..how many times in all did you guys get stuck?

 

Well let's see.... Tony got stuck once, Luke got BURIED once, and I got stuck once. After the first stuck we kinda lost our motivation. Took me 5 hours to get my truck clean and trip to the tire shop to have all my tires taken off the rim to clean the mud out of them. When I was aired down mud got under the bead and I had a bad seal on the rim after I aired back up. This is twice now I have had this happen.... is this a common occurance when airing down and going through deep mud?

 

Great pics, looks like you guys had tons of fun except for getting stuck and the clean up I've never seen a 1st gen Hilux Surf until I saw the pics today.
