Arizona Drivers Wanted - Meet the AZLCA!
You’re Invited!
The Arizona LandCruiser Association (azlca.org) has aligned membership requirements to TLCA, welcoming all Toyota 4 wheel drive vehicles with a low range transfer cases.
If you live in Arizona, or visit from time to time, I personally invite you to join this club. We are a group of family-friendly Toyota 4x4 enthusiasts that get together to enjoy Arizona's beautiful backcountry in our favorite 4x4’s. We actively plan monthly trail runs, organize publicity events, and share technical information and tips, along with a good dose of camaraderie and story-telling.
You and your family are very welcome to join our monthly meetings and trail runs prior to any membership commitment. We meet every 2nd Thursday of the month at the Top Shelf Mexican Food Cantina, 1976 W Southern Ave. (NE corner of Southern & Dobson, 1 block east of Dobson, north side), Mesa, AZ 85202. Order dinner at 6:30PM, meeting starts at 7PM.
Membership fees (should you decide to join) are $20 per year. Since AZLCA is a non-profit organization, this fee goes directly to support the ASA4WDC membership. If you are already a member of ASA, the $20 membership fee is waived. What a deal!
The bottom line is the more people we have in the club, the more opportunity we have to meet new friends, learn more about our vehicles and our State, and assemble more diverse and interesting trail runs and events. I am excited about the opportunity to really grow this club, and would like your help.
Feel free to PM me with any questions, and I hope to see you at the meeting or the next run!
Regards,
Joshua

We show up about 6:30. There is a banquet room off to the side we use. We order some food and drinks, and get the meeting started around 7. Lasts about an hour or so. Depending on who/how many people show up, there is sometimes truck-gawking and jibber-jabber afterward, but that is technically outside of the official meeting.
I don't know if you've been to Top Shelf, but the service and food is pretty good.
PS - I adjusted the original post to reflect times. Thanks!

I'm gonna try and make the next meeting. That would be 6/8 right? I live up in NW Phoenix, so if any others in the NW valley plan on going, we could meet up somewhere and carpool down to Mesa.
