Disney, Oklahoma Nov. 6th and 7th.

This is the same weekend as the Swap Meet down there. Usually lots of axles, engines, parts, wheels, tires, etc.

Sounds like a descent group of people goin.

I'd be interested in driving out for one of those two days to meet up, look for some parts & to run some of the easier trails out there. I'm still pretty stock.

Yowie!! Let's go, dude!

Edit:
Kyle can come too. Since I got a 33" spare, he can have my old 31" for a good spare.

I'll be goin' the the swap meet but probably not wheelin' much. I may if I get time to change a rear axle seal before then but that's not lookin' promising.

FYI: I don't think James will go this year as his daughter is due the week before the swap meet.

Correction: I'm almost positive James won't be goin' as his daughter was due the 21st!!!

I still haven't had time to change my seal either. I've been stuck painting my oldest daughters room fer a week.

I apreciate that but my ride works fine. It's just not ready for wheelin'. I could always take the Runna anyways. I got a motor for the 84 but it's been sittin on the garage floor since I got it and I really wanna tear more into it before reassembling it.

Thanks though!

Sounds like from the posts I have made on other boards that there may be a descent crowd of mixed rigs.

I saw yaul out there (kids in back) but the swap meet was rather small. I was expecting it to be bigger. Anyways....I wheeled a bit around the rock garden then bolted for the house. I would of stayed and wheeled a bit longer but my ball joints are goin' out and I don't have any trail spares. I did get the rear axle lined out though. I'm waiting to fix the bj's till I got everything to do the entire front end (upper and lower bj's & inner and outer rod ends).

Maybe next time we'll get to tear something up together.

Hell man, I'm sorry, I didnt know you were out there.

There were numerous people out there that I didnt get to wheel with.

I didnt wheel the rock garden much as I have gotten so bored with Disney. I did the waterfall several times and made it up the right side of the waterfall and I didn Lil' Blue several times.

I have never run ANY of the trails back in the woods before but this trip was different, I spent almost all weekend back in the woods, it was a blast.

Here are a few pics.

Not being quite as built up as yaul, I've spent alot of time back on the trails. Mostly the Ho Chi Min Trail but I've pretty much run everywhere.

That guy in the S10....spotted for his wife/GF (dono which) and another woman in the Womens Rockcrawling Regionals.

His rig...

that his wife/GF competed in...

Just barely hung up...

and this is the other woman he spotted for...

Small world eh?

Disney is good times but like everywhere else, there's only so much to do and so many times you can do it. Luckily, due to my lack of "built" status, there's still plenty out there for me to do.

Yeah, his name is Travis. His wife would be much happier to drive that rig now because she drove it with a spooled front and standard power steering. Now he runs full hydro so even with a spool, he can steer with his finger.

The chick in the gold rig is Jen. She is cool as hell and is a good driver to boot, she out runs half the men out there.

Travis...that's it. He told me back in July but I forgot. Talked to him just a bit and he seemed nice. Was kinda frazzled spottin' for 2 peeps but he got'r done just fine. His wife was a trooper. She was stressed but still smiled and seemed to have a good time. Jen took everything in stride. As far as speeJ go, I like hers. Functionality in it's simplest form. She does wheel exceptionally well. I really had a blast setting up the courses and watchin' em run em. The organization of the event was rather lacking though. Alot of mis-interpetation between the teams and the officials. I'm sure Travis could elaborate.

All in all it was a great time.
