It's not open. click here.

I'm down for a run on Saturday - depending on the trail.

We could head up 285 to kanosha pass - see how far we get up twin cone. If it's not very far we could continue on to China Wall which I know for sure is open and looks like a decent little trail. Here's recent report on China Wall

Or theres always Ric favorite Yankee Hill. We can see how far we can get up there.

China wall looks fun, Twin Cone would also be fun.
Yankee Hill is (IMO) only fun when there is snow, last time we was there most all the snow was about gone. Im just not getting up at 7am on a saturday to wheel lol
Mayham ????? any thoughts ?

Hey, if anyones interested, just heading up into the Poudre to run 7mile on Sunday. Nothing really hard, just to get out. Got a few yotas going and at least one jeep. Meeting up at the gas station at the split off of 14 from 287 just north of fort collins/laporte.

just throwing that out.

Snowmobile is probably the only way you'll do wheeler this time of year. Try in about a month. Seems like it opens about mid early june with a drift or 2 crossing the trail towards the top. But I don't know for sure - so I'm sure people would be intrested to know what you find if you go.

Well, I'm pretty sure we'll hit snow on twin cone - but I figure it's worth checking out real quick since it's only a few minutes off 285 at kensosha pass - which we will go over to get to china wall.

Let's say we meet between 9:00 - 9:15 at the Safeway off 285 in Conifer (Approx. 40 min from Denver). Leave for trail at 9:30. CB Channel 4.
Don't forget a lunch.

John

Man, I really want to smash my bumper into a rock, but I'm busy this saturday.

I'll have to wait for the next run.

Shoot, I had feeling it was. I don't really have any other ideas for Sunday. I'd like to go somewhere, I just figured that area since there is a new skatepark in Fairplay that I could skate after wheeling.

I'll be helping Brandi Sunday. We should try to get something going for next Sunday and maybe more people will show up since it won't be a holiday. Ric, you should come to Brandi's because you can be my tool apprentice LOL
