when was this event? reading all these posts, and waiting for mine(I had toyo_runner paypall you aurora) has made me start to wonder if I can make the journey. I noticed flygt and bighead made it from pretty far away. I know I am gonna try to make the EC4RJ, so I might be down for a CO4RJ too.

besides, I've always wanted to get out to CO. I hear you have so called "mountains" and stuff. round here all we got are flat cornfields as far as the eye can see.

The last two years that I have been there, it has been the second weekend of August which has timed out well for me in the past since I was always preparing for a Fall semester of school.

There is serious talk about doing Moab next year, as Jeff mentioned. This may mean that the CO Jambo is smaller and caters more to locals. Depending on what state my truck is in, I may come to the small one in Colorado and come back for the big one depending on my school schedule or lack there of.

This past year was one of the most diverse crews state wise that I have ever heard of. Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, North Carolina, Kentucky and Wisconsin were all represented.

In the end, the Colorado guys are top notch, one and all. Add in some out of state people who can wheel, a beautiful back drop, and a late night fire with beer and stories and you have a deal that is hard to beat. Driving better than 1k miles each way the last two years has been well worth it. I really hope this is something that I can continue to be a part of for a long stretch of my life.

Thanks for the awesome DVDs! It really makes me look forward to getting out to CO again. I will be in the vicinity the last two weeks of August, so hopefully there will be a 2004 CO rally. UT is beckoning too . . .

Wow I just got it today! what a great way to end finals!!!!!

Aurora the vid is sweet! makes me want to make it out for the next one, but it also makes me NOT want to! Especially with all the clanks from sliders/bumers/skids smashing the rocks!!!

Flygt, you are huge! what are you 8'7"? Crazy putting faces to people!

Nice job on the DVD! My favorite moment was SteveO snapping his axle! I won't comment on some of the "SLOW DOWN!@#$&%*!&@?!!" statements......hehe. I'm looking foward to putting faces with some of you. I will be at the All Pro Jamboree in Johnson Valley next year.

I am only 6'5" but I was hanging out with a lot of people who were in shape from Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. It just goes to make me look a lot bigger.

I have been watching daily since I am on break, always a good flash back. Now the lyrics to Rocky Mountain High are coming in better.
