CO People, Meet and Drink/Socialize/Have Fun

I would like to start the planning phases of a meet and hang out for supper/maybe more for the Denver area Coloradoans.

I am without trail truck for a while, so I propose meeting, eating and chatting somewhere in the next couple weeks before Thanksgiving.

For a location, I advocate something on the north sidish of Denver, as in a place off I-25 say in Thornton, Westminster, etc.

For a venue, I advocate somewhere with good, decent food and libations.

For a time, I say after workish maybe later in the week. I hang out with a Marine a Tuesdays and Thursdays, but know some perfer weekend.

Any takers?

I'd be game!
Just depends on when and where. I work retail hours so my schedule is crazy.
And i live SE Aurora so more central Denver is better for me.
I also have a in at the gentlemens clubs around town i could get some passes for.
But only if that is something that would be okay with everyone, they are not places i go i just know the couple who manages them.

We used to do this in a club I was a part of in TN. We met once a month! I'd be game if we split the distance between Denver and Fort Collins, maybe somewhere like Longmont?

we may be up for this,
this is "just" an idea, but when we had a meet & greet a few years ago, it was at the Daves & Busters, it seemed to work really well, they had the room for us, and was quite enough so that our group could talk...
it was nice to check out others trucks/rigs, lets see if others will be interested. i know that theres lots of Co. people on here.

When my truck went in for the engine swap, we had a good gathering at the Roadhouse around 52nd and Wads.

My guess is the best we can do is the north side of Denver.

Hey all.

How's about CB&Potts up north - it's about .5 west on 120th Avenue & I25.

Friday nights are good...tues and thurs nights are right out, i need to know a week in advance if we're gonna do something on a different day...

Someone just come up with a venue, and how does the 11th sound to everyone? That would be peachy for me, though the 18th is okay too.... after that, i'll be hanging with the family...

I'll watch this thread to see what you guys end up doing. I might make it down from Fort to see some familiar faces.

To cater towards younger folks, what about hitting a place like Fudruckers for eats/drinks?

This weekend is toast for me, need to kick some butt with other projects. Next weekend looks a little better. Wednesdays or weekends are good.

I will throw a time and place here in a couple days and see what is up. I agree the "Come to this place at this time" makes for a better deal then "Where do you want to go? I want to go here, but not here...."

I am available, anytime...
SO how about the weekend of 12th?

We need to get a date and location up so this idea doesn't die and some people can plan ahead...

I like what Ric said about Dave & Busters. Much funner the ol Fuddruckers, its got games for the little nerds like me, good drinks for the rest of you, and great food as well.

Dave and Buster's is the venue. I was secretly looking for a reason to eat a huge burger. Guess I will handle that on my own time.

Next weekend-ish is the time.

What D&B? I think I was at one around 104th, but I really stink at directions besides work and my apartment.
