(CO) Formal Thanksgiving Weekend Trip
Okay, since the last thread was a bit spacey, and a little confusing, i'm starting this as the official trip thread, so folks know we've got a trip planned, and not just speculation. Here it is
WHEN: Friday 26th, Saturday 27th, and Sunday the 28th.
WHERE and WHEN:
FRIDAY: Twin Cone Trail
Meet at Conoco at TOP of Crow HIll in Bailey at 9:30. We'll wait until 9:45, then roll out.
SATURDAY:Moody Hill/Crystal Mountain
Meet at General Store in Masonville at 9:30, leave at 9:45
SUNDAY: Eagle Rock
Target parking lot on the SW corner of I25 & Circle.
Meeting early so we can get off before the sun goes down...Please bring a friendly attitude, and be prepared to have fun...

you might want to change the meet location from the Broadmoor, to say home depot on lake.
Broadmoor is BIGGGG
And homedepot.com has the exact location so everyone can find it =)
Oh ya, I'll try to make all 3 days... i think eagle rock will be the roughest of the 3???

well, the other 2 (the ones i'd actually have to drive to lol) i should be fine on, correct?
but for eaglerock, i'll drive there and do the 1st part, but not the 3ft boulder/dropoff area =)
thanks!!

if there is a three foot boulder, we'll be winching anyway, none of these trucks can drive up that, even dry...the other two won't be a problem...they get a bit tippy, but none of the obstacles risk damage...with a locker you'll be fine...

If you are talking about the boulder drop off part I am, ( the one where the boulder sticks out hard on the left, and it has a gaping hole on the right, pretty much the only ral obstical). I have made that boulder drop off part, in my pickup with open ends, and 31" muds. Me and Byron4 from this board ran it, with a couple of other people, and he was so close, and i was last to go, and about the 5th try i made it.
