Caravan Information to SE4RJ from Atlanta

Everybody is welcome to join our caravan to SE4RJ.
When and Where:
Friday, May 14th at 6:30 AM at QT station on Hwy 92 in Woodstock right off Hwy 575 Exit #7.
if going N on Hwy575, get off exit 7 and turn right, the QT will be on the left hand side. Please try to be on time. Well have CB on channel 4 and anyone can email me for my cell #.

I hope this works for everybody. We can be in Tellico and set up campsites before noon, than we can go welling.

Reply to this post if you are going.

Crap, 6:30, that's 5:30 my time and about 2.5 hours or so from me, so I would have to leave here at 3 am. It's looking like no caravan for me.

Ryan, what time are you leaving?

Hey guys, would just a little later be possible? You know I've got to meet up for the caravan, but 3 am is early, even for me.

I'm somewhat flexible, but heading through Atlanta any later than 7AM and your "Screwed". We were trying to beat most of the rush hour traffic in the AM. Thats why it's so early. If you hit 285 later than 7AM plan on sitting for a while.

I guess you're right, what time does the traffic slack off?

Usually around 9:30AM or so. Thats the time I usually head to work downtown, just so I dont have to sit in allot of traffic.

How long will it take to get to Tellico from where you are meeting? I ask in case 9:30 might be a possibility.

What kind of trails are you guys planning on hitting Friday afternoon-easier or harder stuff?
