I remember that night like it was yesterday and it took some coaxing to get Shane to even do it.

Are you guys joined at the "hip" these days?

I brought the idea up, then Shane and I stood and talked about who was ramping whom. I suggested that Shane do it because he had the crawler Then I spotted him up there. That's hardly "begging".

Actually just above the hip, if it were the hip I would have trouble with the gas pedal.

I don't remember the begging but I do remember the coaxing, at least I was coaxing. It was cool to see that

How about Tuesday the 21st? I would probably vote to go back to the Azteca in Bellvue. It's bad enough driving the Runner on pavement, but highways are a bit spooky so the closer the better. I wouldn't mind North Bend if it were a Sunday and we did a run in that area for the afternoon with the Cantina meet afterwards, but it's a long haul for me, especially on a work day. Anyone have problems with Tuesdays, or the 21st in particular?

As far as the last get-together, I seem to remember both of you being game for the tire trick, once we figured out that Dave wasn't gonna let us use his Jeep for a ramp.

Well Rob, looks like it may just be you and me. Shouldn't be much of a problem getting a table at least.

Anyone else???

This could be fun, although with Rob there you never know.

Where in Bellevue?

As long as work doesn't pile up at the office, I'm game for Tuesday.

I'll be there, even though that jeep guy will be there....

Just kidding John! Just a heads up that "JeepKJ" is a neighbor of mine in Seattle, hasn't had a chance to go offroading since he moved out here from Texas. He's looking to meet up with a good group of people to wheel with, so I told him this is the spot. If he doesn't mind wheeling with a bunch of yotas, we could probably handle having a jeep along for our runs.

Thats OK for the Jeep guy. We could use extraction practice on our runs.

I'm up for the 21st, 7 will be tight for me but I'll make it work. Other dates would possibly work too, but my weekends are pretty booked with work right now.

Hey Greg,
I could get them up to him. I'm going to try to be driving the cruiser (No rain, no rain, no rain....no wipers!)

I'll make sure to bring them along. Sounds like about a half dozen maybes for the 21st, should be fun.
Shane, Kevin? You guys made the last one, you up for the parking lot photo op. again?

Greg, if that doesn't work out we can meet up on one of these weekends...? I just have -zero- time during the week these days.
(glad they worked out for you and helped get your rig on the road)

Thanks,
Jim
Thanks Jim,
I literally could not have done it without them. I ended up buying two sets for myself last week. Figured I could put the Runner up to take the strain off the springs when I'm not using it, but it turns out they are too short. Guess these big tires have one disadvantage, they are the tallest stands I found too, which means I have at least 25" of clearance under the lowest part of the frame. I'll just have to try a little backwoods logic and find some stumps to set the truck on.
On a positive note, I got the Runner going again tonight so I, and it, will be there next week. David, we'll both be hoping it doesn't rain if I don't put the top back on. See you guys in Bellvue.
