You might check out the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument Nat Mon. as an alternative route opportunity to get to Bryce Canyon. Beautiful, remote, and there can be some serious 4x4 to be done.

I've been up to Bryce in late Nov.- Be prepared for the possability of winter weather. I'd recommend taking a set of chains- the storms that time of year can move in quickly, and usually are wet and heavy snow if it's cold enough.

Thanks for the link, Crawler, current itenerary includes Burr Trail, Upper Muley Twist Canyon, and Hole in the Rock.

Good Chance I'll be headed up form Bullfrog Marina on Burr trail with a side trip up Muley Canyon on Sunday if your game, Nobody. It's hard to tell for the rest.

Jim, took me a while to figure out how to get an avatar set up (didn't want to look like a wuss who was fraid to show his rig!), so I didn't post much.

Maybe if someone could show me how to post pictures as well I could brag about some of the rides CO has presented me lately (did spring creek on Sunday! great fall colors, two obstacles that sent me crying for the bypass, live Turkeys on the trails **lucky thankgiving is a full month off**. and looking down on Goergetown at dusk--- I love Colorado!). I don't have my own website so I can store them there.

Looking forward to Utah in November....

Cade, email me your pictures and I'll host them. Then I'll give you the links to insert here, and like magic, they will appear!

Great state, isn't it?! Glad you've had some good trips recently.

If you want some more company, I may still be in the area when you are there. PM or E mail me and let me know. I'm on the road for the next several months but I'll be checking PMs and E mail sporradically.
