I suggest, '5 Seasons Brewery'. Same zip code, good menu/group seating/parking and cold beer. In addition, you likely will not chit your brains out after eating there. Personally, I do not care about UGA vs GT. One should support the school from which he/she graduated. This generally does not appear to be the case in the South. I realized this after speaking with an individual dressed head to toe in University gear. I asked him, "What year did you graduate?' He replied, "I didn't really go there, I just love their football team."

Regardless, I'm in. I am used to the university banter.

Besides, why is it UGA? and not UG? or GU? and to be fair, GT should be GIT.

Athens works for me. Gainesville as well. I would prefer meeting anywhere besides Atlanta.

But its not about Atlanta or the Varsity. Its about everybody hanging out and looking at trucks. Grab something to eat on the way if you dont like Varsity. Its just an easy to find spot thats central to most folks.

Since I travel for a living, wherever is good for me. I don't know about downtown Atl parking stuff though. Are there garages?mor does Varsity have lots of parking? I'm sure most of us will be looking at trucks and chatting, so a big lot would be cool....

 

The Varsity has a HUGE parking lot. As long as a few of us are eating it wont be much of a problem. Last time we just got food to go and ate like a tailgate party. We didnt get any grief from the fuzz.

So which day is gonna be best?? I vote Saturday around 5pm. Later so it doesnt cut into the middle of the day but not too late so folks can still have plans with their ladies that night.

My 4runner MIGHT be ready. The DOA fuel sender really set my schedule back and i just got my injectors to the cleaners yesterday. They should be done today. Worst case I'll drive the Taco if i still have it.
