Good stuff. Crown King is a fun run. Never been to the Coke Ovens or Sunflower Mine, but they look fun from what I can see. Just about any Sat or Sun works fine for me.

Hey guys Crown King is always fun. I have not done The Coke Ovens in my Runner yet. I know it was a blast on the Raptor and the Rincon. Sunflower Mine sounds good aswell. Sat works better for me but I can get Sundays off from work with no problem. Let me know when.

Why are you running the SUV run at the Tin Bender thing? You can do aftershock. I'll winch you if you need it.

Yeah, I'd likely make Coke Ovens, I really like that trail. In as far as thongs go, I could talk to her about it but she's kind of shy (that's sarcasm right there folks.) Sounds like a plan.

I need to do something about a skid (start the new design since I am an IFS weenie), move the sliders up and kick them out. I think you are welding and I am cutting on President's day... I'll give you a call this afternoon.

I would recommend staying away from Crown King till the rain stops and the trail dries up alittle, especially if stock vehicles are traveling. A couple of the hills are a real mess because the bottom is a mud pit and the rock hill is VERY SLICK, tough going trust me...

this was from 2 weekends ago...I cant imagine how bad is it now...probably take a couple weeks to dry up alittle...cost me 13 dollars at the powerwasher to clean the mud off too...

Yes. I have taken a stock Honda Passport on this. Even bone stock unlocked 2nd gens with running boards have no problems.

You'll get a thrill, but you won't get any dents.

bummer for the cancel. I have heard a lot of good things about the Coke ovens and would like to check them out. This weekend could work but I am toying with the Idea of taking a few days off and doing the 700 mile pilgrimage to the promised land of the Black Rock Desert. If anything comes up for this weekend I would rather stay in town. I do fear it may be difficult with the rumor of more rain on wed/thurs. Odd I posted to this thread on Sat I thought.
Steve, tanks for the PM, I hope you got my reply.

We hit the Coke Ovens by going through Box Canyon first. So, you guys could get a double whammy in if you wanted to. It makes for a long day though.

I would wait for a while to do Crown with a stocker as well. These are from 12/31/04 after the rock ledge and before the left turn going up by the water tank.

If your looking for peace and quiet on the trail, that is not the weekend! TTORA is planning on having about 100 Tacos on the trail for the AZROCKS event that weekend.

I will be busy that entire weekend, Steve.

Saturday, there is a huge party going on and will most likely not got to bed until three or four in the morning. As a result, Sunday is hang over and forget about waking up early.

Move the bumper up a few days so we can do it on the 27th as first suggested.

Hesus? That's a new one.
