we ended up at bill moore. my friends wanted to go gambling afterwards so lefthand was just out of the way. i want to go to lefthand sometime, i've never been there before.
as with most 4x4 trails in the middle of winter there are people that go and set the tracks. most of the time the tracks stop somewhere and this is where you either stop or chain up i chained up all 4 this time. bashed through about 2 1/2' of snow going uphill. this took a while but we finally got through. we had to stop about a 1/2 mile later when the drifts of snow came up on the road. the snow looked to be about 3' deep or more and we didnt have enough recovery stuff to make me feel confortable getting stuck in it.
all in all it was a great trip, my friends 1/2 worn MTRs were awesome!
hopefully we'll go again soon.
