I am from SC, I am in Sumter now, but from Myrtle Beach. Sumter Natl. Forest is upstate and does not allow 4x4s on the trails, only ATVs. The closest places to wheel are a few trails here in Sumter County, mostly sand & mud, then Uhwarrie National Forest in NC, Fort Fisher Beach in NC. Tellico is further up in Western NC, and I am not sure about GA.

Where are you in SC? If you ever want to make a wheeling trip let me know, I will be going to the 4runner jamboree in May, (see Wabbit's thread) https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f15/se4rj3-may-11-14-2006-tellico-71949/
