No need for a new thread - just keep bumping this one if you need to.

I'm planning on doing a snorkel, I was thinking about getting the ARB kit when I do it, dunno about cutting my fender though, I want to relocate it all to the passenger side, and do dual batteries, trying to find the factory dual battery wiring from junkyards in Canada, and Japan right now, but haven't had much luck.

I want to put a weekend trip together, maybe take off from Eugene and see if we can do a couple days of dirt, if anyone is interested. Wont have the money till next month, but I think it would be fun. Dunno what you all do offroad, I like to hit obstacles, etc, but like to go on long trips and explore mostly. Let me know if anyone wants to go. I'm dying to get out on a trip.

Lets figure out when will work for people, I get my check on the 30th, and could do a weekend after that, what would work for you next month? Lets figure out a date, then we can plan a route. I only have 31's, so we'll have to keep that in mind, can't do what you can do. WIfes truck's on 33's though, maybe we can bring both.

Hey I live in the medford area, just moved here this summer want to do some wheeling. just been messing around out at immigrant lake some and doing alot of work to me truck, made bumpers and sliders so far, hoping to get started on some belly armor in the next week or two.

I've got a 2001 tacoma trd. Just blew all my money on 3 inch all pro expo rear leafs and a revtek 3 inch front spacer along with brand new 33X10.50X15 KM2's. unfortunately now i cant stand trying to crawl it, the stock 4.10s just cant handle it, i gotta ride my clutch all the way up rocks and hill climbs. waiting on a few more pay checks so I can upgrade to 4.88s.

If anyone knows this area and wants to go wheeling i'm usually down when I'm not working. would like to find some people to go out with so i dont have to worry about getting stuck on my own

Im in Sunny Valley. I haven't been wheeling yet in my '96. Money is very tight at this time for me though. I would love to go middle January-March 2012.

I work over in Troutdale/Gresham at Mt. Hood hospital. So far I've spent time wheelin on Larch Mt. here in Vancouver, Wa and we went to Goat Mt. down past Estacada. I like to take the family wheelin (wife and two young ones). I'm pretty new to the area too and always need a wheelin buddy.

Talking about snorkels, has anyone thought about routing the intake down under the vehicle and bringing it up in the bed like a smokestack? At least that way you can keep your fender looking presentable. Make a door in the bed so you can close the hole off when not in use.

Its much more susceptible to taking in water.
If there were to be a crack or something. and hit something on the under belly.
