4 12 03 Greenwater pics are up

On the spur of the moment Todd wanted to take the 4Runner up for an easy run at forest road 70 at Greenwater.

We met at Safeway Saturday morning at 9 and pushed off.
The weather did not cooperate as it rained on us most of the time.

We did some exploring up there and found some new areas that go on for miles & miles, but we ended up turning back as it was time to head out.

We did try an go to the mouth of the Naches trail, but we had to turn around from the deep snow.
We drove through some of the snow up there, but the hills we were on were very steep and the snow depth gets deep real fast.
There is still a ton of snow up there above the 3,500' level.

Here are a few pics & vids.

Thanks Silver, we had a lot of fun up there, and that's what it all boils down to, is having fun.

I updated the page with a link to Todd's pictures.

Once nice thing about going in the rain or when the ground is damp, you don't have dust flying everywhere.

Helps out with the allergies big time

Definately, I have allergies too. That and if it isn't raining at the time and you're behind another vehicle, you can still have the window open without choking on dust.

Woo hoo
Yea, that felt good to get out and play for a bit.
Funny how a bit of real fresh air rejuvenates you
